Old News 2/8/2010 So, we're back in Franklin Park for a while. We had one hell of a flight. Long story, so don't ask... In any case, the majority of the code for The Good Apprentice is finished. We're going to be adding one cool easter egg while we wait for the art to be finished. Aside from that, we're working on the next game. Stay tuned for more information. 2/1/2010 Nothing new to really report. We're going to be in Chicago (actually, Franklin Park) for some time. We hope to return to Austin soon. As for the games, things are going well. Again, still wating for some art :) 1/27/2010 Yikes, we forgot to give an update here! All right, nothing too new, we're still waiting for some art to be finished. Due to the fact that we couldn't find any royalty free music that really fit the mood of the game we're making, we just decided to go ahead and make our own midi music. The results are decent, not great or anything, but good enough for what we need. Aside from that, things have been good. Hopefully, our artist will contact us in a bit with some tiles. Once we get the tiles and the music, I think we'll be ready to give out a gameplay demo! 1/1/2010 Happy New Years everyone! We've made some changes (again). I know it's a bit confusing! We're just trying to make the best looking website possible. We should be sticking with this look for some time. The Good Apprentice progress is going great! I know I said we'd have another video... we're working on that. With the holidays, things can get a little hectic, right? 12/28/2009 We wanted to have another video up by today, but I think we'll wait for tomorrow. Business wise, we've just been tile placing. That's gonna take a bit of time. We're trying to use our twitter account a bunch, so be sure to join us at: In addition, we've been using Facebook a bit more (we've been playing Farmville quite a bit!). So, be sure to join us there as well! 12/22/2009 We just uploaded our first video for The Good Apprentice! It's got a shit ton of developer's art, but hopefully people get the idea of what we're trying to do! We're really excited, so check it out at the link below! The Good Apprentice Video Diary 0 (be sure to leave some comments!) 12/21/2009 Golly! I can't believe it's almost Christmas! It seems like just yesterday we put in the first bit of code for The Good Apprentice. In any case, we finished playtesting all the levels! Yay! So, right now, we're working on adding some additional features, adding art, and some general clean up. After that, it's tile placement, and we're done! In any case, we're going to try to put a CRAPPY ART VIDEO on youtube in the next couple of days! Check out our page at youtube for more information: 12/15/2009 Our artist has broken his computer. As such, we HATE her (just kidding). She'll have to work overtime to finish the work we've assigned her. Even when she does work over time, she probably will miss her targeted schedule. In any case, rythm testing and tile placing are proceeding nicely. I'd say that if we worked hard, we could finish this side of the work within a week. Still, we're worried a bit about the art :( 12/08/2009 An artist has been found. We'll be working with an artist that worked on The Cherokee Indian! We'll be putting the finishing touches on the first draft of every level today! After that, we'll be doing some additional code then bug testing. After that, it'll be tile placing!
